Hugh Bonneville, Joanne Froggatt, Michelle Dockery and more discuss their fondest memories from across all of Downton’s six seasons.

We’ve all got favourite Downton Abbey moments and beloved quotes we’ll reel off at any given opportunity.

But as the hit period drama comes to a close on ITV, we felt it was important we found out what scenes and special one-liners the cast themselves remember fondly.

“I’m going upstairs to take off my hat,” was a high point for Michelle Dockery, while Hugh Bonneville is constantly trying to slip the now iconic quote into conversation.

For Jim Carter, who plays Mr Carson, the best moment was when Lady Mary asked for the butler’s approval before saying ‘I do’ to long-running love Matthew. And dancing with Maggie Smith’s Dowager Countess during the first Christmas special remains a high point for Rob James-Collier.

Find out what the rest of the cast have to say in our exclusive video here.
