A Salon Evening: A Play for Five Voices and a Painted Hall

First Performed: January 2020

23rd January 2020, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, 7-10pm.

A semi-staged reading of monologues telling the stories, reverently and irreverently, of some of the men and women whose faces gaze down at us in the magnificent Painted Hall.

These monologues are written especially for this event by the West End playwright, screenwriter and 18th-century specialist Ian Kelly and will be performed in the Painted Hall by guest artists Jane Asher, Hugh Bonneville, Robert Bathurst, Anthony Ofoegbu and Lisa McGrillis.
