The Gold – Series 2

When: 18th October 2026 on PBS (US)

6 x 60min series for BBC1.

Following multiple court cases and convictions of some of those involved in the theft and handling of the Brink’s-Mat gold, the police realised that they had only ever been on the trail of half of the gold. Series two is inspired by some of the theories around what happened to the other half.

Hugh plays DCS Brian Boyce.

The series premiered in the UK on 8th June 2025 and will be available on PBS in America on 18th October 2026.
